Biosciences Course Rep Elections

We have an exciting opportunity for you to represent your peers across your Faculty!

Each year, we recruit Faculty Representatives (Faculty Reps) to represent students in each of the three faculties at the University of Liverpool; Science and Engineering (S&E), Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) and Health and Life Sciences (HLS).

Faculty Reps will be assigned to sit on a committee within their relevant faculty, where matters relating to students’ teaching and learning experience are discussed at a senior level. In recent years, committees have discussed a variety of topics including: the student attendance project, group work policy, National Student Survey action plans, and examination procedure.

Faculty Reps will develop key skills such as communication and negotiation, as well as gain experience in discussing topics relevant to the student experience in a strategic setting. If you fulfil the requirements of the role and you are an undergraduate or postgraduate taught student, it can also be recognised with a Liverpool Award certificate and digital badge. Being a Faculty Rep is also a great addition to your LinkedIn and CV!

Faculty Rep Role Description 25-26

This role is ideal for students who are committed to enhancing the student experience and wish to represent students at a large scale. Please see the attached role description which provides further detail about the requirements of the role, including the person specification.
