Please read these Conditions of Use carefully. They apply to liverpoolguild.org and all subsites thereof (the “Site”). They govern your use of the Site.

Access to and use of the Site is provided by Liverpool Guild of Students (“the Guild”) on the following terms. By using the Site you are acknowledging that you have read and accepted these Conditions of Use and Privacy Statements.

We may change these Conditions of Use from time to time by updating this page. You should review this page regularly. Your continued use of the Site after changes have been made will be taken to indicate that you have read and accepted those changes. You should not use the Site if you are not happy with any changes to these Conditions of Use.

Disclaimer  

Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy and currency of the information contained in pages of the Guild’s Site and all subdomains thereof.  However, contents are subject to change from time to time and the Guild can accept no liability for the accuracy of all the information presented at any given time. 

The Guild reserves the right to make changes without notice.  Some links may lead to information maintained by third parties and the Guild accepts no responsibility for the accuracy or any other aspect of information obtained through such links.  Every effort is made to ensure downloadable content is free from viruses.  The Guild can accept no liability for damages resulting from virus infection. Website users should ensure that they have up-to-date virus prevention software.

There may be, either through planned or unplanned outages, a lack of access to the Site. The Guild can accept no liability in the event that the Site is unavailable.

Proper use

You agree to use the Site only in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Use for lawful purposes, and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the Site.

Prohibited behaviour includes (this list is not exhaustive) harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any person, transmitting obscene or offensive content or disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within the Site and impersonating another person.

Failure to abide by these conditions, or attempts to bypass the security arrangements put in place, may result in removal of service. This does not entail removal of Membership of the Guild however the Disciplinary Procedure may be invoked for Members or Staff who are in breach of this agreement.
