Note on NUS Affiliation:
From Monday 23rd – Friday 27th February 2026, we asked students to have their say on whether the Guild should stay or leave NUS UK membership via an all-student, cross campus referendum following a student petition. With the required quoracy of 5% (1,594 votes) of the student body being achieved, students voted that the Guild should leave NUS UK membership with an 86.82% majority (1,654 votes). Therefore, the Guild will cease to be an affiliated member of NUS UK from the 31st December 2026. As this Referendum specifically outlined disaffiliation from NUS UK, the Guild will continue to be a member of NUS Charity after the 31st December 2026
