Campus will have some differences when you arrive in September, as you will find out in the videos below. You may be new and not know what things were like before, or you may be a familiar face who notices the changes – either way, the differences have been designed to help you stay safe on campus and in our building.
We’ve worked with the University and Government guidance to put new measures in place across our building. This is so you can visit us safely and find out more about what we have to offer. You will see there's a new one way system in place, along with clear social distancing signage and hand sanitising stations for you to use. You will need to wear a face covering when walking around our building, unless you're eating or drinking at tables which will seat up to six people. All our services will continue to operate with some tweaks - some will have a reduced capacity to limit the number of people to safe levels, some will move online and others will offer a mixed physical and virtual presence.
We know we’re taking a strict approach to this, but the health and safety of our students and staff is number one, and we will continue to do whatever we can to protect that.
We also appreciate that many of you may feel nervous about visiting us, and that's fine - we've made sure there's plenty of our activities online for you to get stuck into, so you can make friends, try new things and get help without leaving your own living space. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to the Guild safely, whenever you're confident and ready to do so.
