Is there someone who’s made your experience at university better? Is there a student, society or staff member who’s had a positive impact and want to thank them? A Guild Award is the perfect way to celebrate those who’ve helped make your time at uni memorable! There are 12 categories up for grabs at the Guild Awards and we'll be crowning our winners in a glittering ceremony on the 9th May to celebrate an amazing year on campus. We'll be announcing our shortlist very soon...

Awarded to an individual or group who has ensured that students feel they belong and find their place in our diverse and inclusive community.

This individual or group will have gone above and beyond to consider the importance of inclusion within their course, events or activities. They have worked actively to create an environment that recognises and elevates members' differences, celebrating the strengths that those differences bring to the student community, and supporting other students.

Specifically, we are looking for an individual or a group who has made a commitment to inclusivity around age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religious belief and non belief, sex and sexual orientation.

Awarded to a Student Rep (Course/PGR, School, Faculty or Senate Rep) from each faculty for going the extra mile to improve your University experience, making sure your voice is heard to the University in a year like no other; an all-round Rep Superhero!

Awarded to a member of teaching staff from each faculty for going the extra mile to make support students and improve your University experience.

Awarded to any member of University staff, who goes beyond their job role to make your University experience better.

This special award for this year recognises a group or individual who have created positive change for students this year, making the University of Liverpool a better place.

Awarded to a student who is a true sustainability hero; an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to sustainability on campus and beyond. The Sustainability Champion will have embodied the UN's Sustainable Development Goals through their activity, seeking to achieve a better and more sustainable future for everyone.

Awarded to an individual or group who have gone above and beyond to positively impact the city of Liverpool in an extraordinary year; stepping beyond campus to affect change. A real student hero. The individual or group will have taken on volunteering opportunities to support those most affected by the pandemic in the city, gone above and beyond on their placements to support the NHS as student key workers, or supported key services throughout the pandemic.

Awarded to a brand-new society that is already making an impact to their members.

Awarded to an individual or group who have made an outstanding contribution to Guild fundraising for UK-registered charities.

Awarded to an outstanding society, who has created a positive impact to the student experience, Guild and wider community. The highly coveted award will allow you to take your place alongside societies who have taken the Guild to dizzy new heights.

Awarded to an individual or group who have embodied the Guild Values, creating something extraordinary in the face of adversity

Awarded to a passionate and active Halls' Student Committee who have gone above and beyond to make their fellow halls' students feel at home and part of the community that they're a part of. They'll have run a range of excellent, inclusive, and engaging community-building events, helping others to make friends and get to know each other better.
