The EY Foundation is an independent UK charity established in 2014 to support young people aged 13-19 who are facing significant barriers to the labour market. We aim to bring young people and employers together to close the skills gap between UK business and hidden, untapped talent.
We are currently working to deliver a number of programmes to young people with the Careers and Enterprise Company (CEC). We work to give young people facing barriers to employment the skills, experiences and support to get the jobs they really want, and connect employers to talented young people across the UK. Our ambition is to transform the workplace so that every young person, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to succeed.
We are looking for volunteers to support our sessions with the Young People. We have 3 main programmes in the Liverpool are:
The day is made up of a series of interactive challenges all designed to enable the students to develop their employability skills. They will work in teams throughout the day and your role will be to support the students in completion of the various activities. You may also be asked to be a judge for certain activities. A full briefing will be provided before the event.
