NUS Delegate and Bacardi Referenda

The results are in! After 5 days of voting and hundreds of you having your say, we can now reveal the results of the NUS Delegate Elections and the Bacardi Referenda.

NUS Delegate Results: 

Your elected NUS Delegates for National Conference 2024 are:

Bacardi Referenda: 

We asked University of Liverpool students "Should the Guild adopt the proposal to boycott Bacardi Rum and replace it with Havana Club? And “Should the Guild educate students on the background of both the companies/suppliers?"

In order for the vote to be quorate we required at least 902 votes, as we received 504 votes this has not been achieved the motions have not passed

Whilst it wasn’t quorate the breakdown of the Referenda results are: 
Motion 1: Should the Guild adopt the proposal to boycott Bacardi Rum and replace it with Havana Club?
Yes - 411
No - 89
Vote Count: 500
 
Motion 2: Should the Guild educate students on the background of both the companies/suppliers?
Yes - 380
No - 82
Vote Count: 462
