LUDS (University of Liverpool's Drama Society) involves everything related to theatre - and more!
Welcome to LUDS! (University of Liverpool’s Drama Society). We offer members the chance to act, direct, write, design sets and costumes, do backstage and tech, perform stand up, sketch comedy, and almost anything else you can think of related to theatre! We put on several plays a semester, and have frequent socials, writing opportunities, workshops, and other stuff you can get involved in, so check out our Instagram page to see what we’ve got going on in the next few weeks!
If comedy is what you're interested in then follow our sketch comedy group who perform several times in Liverpool and go to Edinburgh Fringe Festival every year, @theliverpoolrevue, and if writing theatre, poetry, spoken-word, etc. is more your thing then follow @ludswrite and start writing -- as every year we also take a piece of new writing or two, usually one-act plays, up to Edinburgh Fringe.
