The Choir With No Name

The Choir With No Name logo

The Choir with No Name runs choirs with homeless and marginalised people. We use the arts to address reasons someone...

Choir Volunteer

This opportunity is ongoing, with no end date.

You must log in and create your profile before you can apply for this opportunity.
Volunteer to help with logistics (room set up, shopping, cleaning) supporting members within rehearsals and gigs as part of the team (never alone), singing in the choir (you don’t need to be a singer)

You don’t need any experience in working with people who are or have been homeless, induction and support are provided, but you do need to be willing to muck in and have a non-judgemental, compassionate attitude and enjoy working with people.

Choir Volunteers need to be able to commit to a minimum of 2 Wednesday evenings a month, and a willingness to take part in the many gigs we do depending on availability (the gigs are at different times and locations across Merseyside and sometimes further away so it’s a case of saying which ones you can and can’t do as we go along)

It’s a really strong team of people from all backgrounds, and we have a lot of fun!

Most of our volunteers are with us long term, so there is an option to join with no set end date, but we can also arrange fixed periods to work with your terms/semesters if that if is preferable.
