We’re looking for passionate individuals who want to get involved and take on a bit of responsibility while working with our lovely team. There are plenty of ways to contribute, and we have exciting opportunities in various aspects of the charity, as outlined below:
Outreach
Outreach is one of the most rewarding aspects of the Be Free Campaign! Our team reaches out to schools, community centres, and organisations to offer mental health support and workshops. Volunteers in this role will help make connections and, after training, may have the opportunity to facilitate workshops—seeing first-hand the difference we can make.
Events & Fundraising
Love planning events or want experience in fundraising? Our events and fundraising volunteers help organise gigs, art shows, pet therapy events, and more! Fundraising is crucial to keeping our work going, so whether you’re interested in charity sector experience, corporate sponsorships, or simply enjoy bringing people together for a great cause, this could be the perfect role for you!
Ambassador Management
We work with online and offline ambassadors to spread our message and break the stigma around mental health. If you’re interested in social media marketing, influencer engagement, and digital partnerships, this role is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact and develop key skills in communications.
Social Media
Our brilliant social media team is at the heart of our online campaigning, creating content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and more! If you have a talent for graphic design, content creation, or social media strategy, we’d love to have you on board to help strengthen our online presence.
Publications
Are you passionate about writing, editing, or book publishing? Our publications team works on exciting projects, with two successful published works (‘The Journey’ and ‘We Move’) already under our belt! We have new projects underway, and this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to published work.
Volunteer Management
If you’re interested in management and taking on additional responsibility, this role is for you! With many dedicated volunteers in our charity, we want to ensure they have the best experience possible, with roles that align with their skills and passions.
