Teach local primary and secondary school children about science and sustainability through this volunteering opportunity
Join us as a science and / or sustainability volunteer for Guild Schools!
This project gives University of Liverpool Students the chance to deliver workshops on various science and sustainability topics in Primary or Secondary schools across Merseyside. It’s a great opportunity for students and pupils to develop their skills and experience something new, plus it’s completely free for both the student volunteers and the schools themselves.
You will be trained to deliver one-hour sessions with another volunteer. It could be teaching pupils how to recycle, how to live sustainably or showing them how to carry out an exciting science experiment! There are lots of science and sustainability sessions to get involved in.
All participants will need to register as volunteers on this volunteering site. You will work with the Guild Schools team to plan and deliver workshops suitable for Primary and Secondary School pupils. All volunteers are trained prior to delivering to a school - including safeguarding and further information.
