Passionate about mental health? Join the Be Free Campaign to help us break the stigma!

The Be Free Campaign is so much more than a mental health charity! We make a difference in young and vulnerable lives while enabling our volunteers to engage with their passions and make a difference in the local community. We're looking for people who are passionate about getting involved and can take on a bit of responsibility while working with the rest of our lovely team. We have opportunities in various aspects of the charity as outlined below:

- Events & fundraising: Organising events and liaising with artists for fundraising events, this could be anything from gigs, art shows, or pet therapy! Fundraising is a key part of what we do to allow us to continue our work, so anyone looking to get experience in the charity sector would also be a great fit as we can offer experience with professional/corporate fundraising too.

- Ambassador management: We work with a variety of offline/online ambassadors of the charity as influencers are a great way to get our message out there! We are looking for volunteers interested in social media marketing to help us strengthen these partnerships and make new ones so we can continue to break the stigma around mental health.

- Social Media: Our lovely social media team work on creating content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, and more! They are vital to our online campaigning so we are always on the lookout for volunteers who have a knack for social media or graphic design.

- Outreach: Outreach is our main way of making a difference. Our Outreach team contact schools, community centres, and other organisations offering our help, we would be looking for someone who can dedicate themselves to making those contacts and potentially facilitate the workshops after training. Facilitating the workshop in schools etc is one of the most rewarding parts of being part of the Be Free Campaign as you get the opportunity to see what a difference we can make firsthand!

- Publications: Our publications team is looking for people who love anything to do with books, writing, and editing- we have two successful published works already ('The Journey' and 'We Move') We have other exciting projects that they are working on which would be a fantastic chance to be a part of published work!

-Volunteer management: Anyone looking for experience in management or willing to take on additional responsibility, this is for you! Our charity has many, many volunteers and we're keen to ensure that their experience with us is as great as it can be and that their skills/ passions align properly with the role they've been assigned.

This is not an exhaustive list, so get in touch with us and we can talk further and start making a difference with you!
