Come and join the Liverpool Ballroom and Latin Society to learn and develop a new skill! We have weekly classes for people of all abilities, so if you've never danced before, or you've been dancing since you were little, we'd love to have you!
We welcome students from all universities across Liverpool and ex-students!
Not sure what lesson you should attend? This might help...
Beginner: if you have never done Ballroom & Latin or have less than a year of dancing experience and have never competed. Learn how to ChaCha, Jive, Waltz and Quickstep!
Open to All: non-core-4 dances including Samba, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Rumba and Paso Doble! (suitable for all abilities)
Novice: ChaCha, Jive, Waltz and Quickstep for returning novices and higher-level dancers.
Technique: this is a great class for improving technique and is open to everyone.
We offer our members the chance to compete against other universities up and down the country each year, and are honoured to host our very own competition here in Liverpool during semester 2! In addition to competitions, we occasionally perform within the university, such as at the University of Liverpool BSL Charity Ball last year!
We are a lively, friendly club, and hold regular socials; last year this included pub crawls, craft evenings and game nights :)
