Our society is a community that brings women together to a safe and comfortable environment to discuss health issues, and to raise awareness and fundraise for vital charities!
At the UoL Women’s Health Advocacy, we’re very passionate about creating a supportive, empowering community for anyone affected by women’s health conditions — including Endometriosis, PCOS, Adenomyosis, Breast Cancer, and more.
Our society is open to all students, whether you’re living with a condition, supporting someone who is, studying health-related subjects, or simply want to learn, raise awareness, and make a difference.
💬 What We Do:
Awareness Campaigns – Shedding light on underrepresented women’s health issues through talks, panels, and social media.
Support & Community Events – Safe spaces to share experiences, discuss challenges, and connect with others who understand.
Fundraising Initiatives – Raising money for women’s health charities and research foundations that drive real change.
Workshops & Guest Speakers – Learn from health professionals, advocates, and people with lived experience.
Socials & Collaborations – Meet like-minded people, collaborate with other societies, and build a strong, supportive network (& also have fun events!)
💗 Our Mission: To create a space space on campus, so that people can promote open conversations about women's health, raise awareness, empower women and allies — because every voice matters, and every story deserves to be heard.
