This event is the finale of three sessions covering a breakdown of a Model UN debate focused around the topic of Democratic Backsliding:
1. Walkthrough of the topic and how to research
2. Opening Speeches
3. Drafting Resolutions
In this session, you will be expected to cooperate with your fellow delegates in creating solutions to the issue at hand. Prior to this, there may be various debates in MUN procedure to ensure that you can gather delegates to support your resolution, and to discuss what you wish to be included.
It is designed to help you build upon the key skills needed for a MUN debate in a beginner-friendly way, by spreading the workload over three separate events.
