Offbeat is a group dance performed at the Northern and National Championships in February. It is a dance in the style hand picked by each university, and rehearsed on the weekends until we perform it!
We (Liverpool) are currently the reigning championships of offbeat following a fantastic performance in the style of Mamma Mia!
It is a group dance that is taught from the ground up for all levels of ability, lasting around 3 minutes maximum.
The theme for offbeat will be revealed via challenges for you to complete with your dance partner on this scavenger hunt. You will have to guess both the theme and song.
Clues will get easier as the night progresses. By the end of the night, everyone will know the them and can get ready for rehearsals. After a fun night of partying and socialising, we have our priorities straight ;)
