A workshop in collaboration with Patients Not Passports, a group advocating for migrants facing barriers to healthcare access.
We will be exploring the hostile environment created for migrant and those seeking asylum in the UK, how this manifests in the NHS specifically, and how we can advocate for people in this position.
We will be looking at some case studies on migrant healthcare and a short film, followed by some breakout discussions and a quiz to end the evening.
This workshop is ideal for *all* healthcare students looking to give fairer and more inclusive care to all patients. Snacks and drinks will be provided at the event for attendees.
