Join us for a film screening of 1948: Creation & Catastrophe hosted LivPalestine and Arab Soc.
The movie “tells the story of the establishment of Israel as seen through the eyes of the people who lived it.” The film makers state that “it is simply not possible to make sense of what is happening in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict today without an understanding of 1948”
After the screening, we’ll open the floor for a thoughtful and respectful group discussion, where we can share our reflections and engage in meaningful dialogue about the film and about the Nakba.
