Join us to live out your fantasy dreams on 31st May for the annual Physics Summer Ball! The ball will be held from 7pm-12am at Devonshire House (L7 9LD), and tickets are £38 per person. Your ticket includes an arrival drink, an additional drinks voucher and a three course meal. We will have the incredible band “Some Time Today’ giving us an exclusive performance and a photographer will be at the event to capture the night. We will of course be presenting the coveted lecturer of the year award (voting form to come) so do not miss this opportunity to round of your year at an incredible event. The dress code of the ball is semi-formal- but we encourage you to embrace the fantasy theme! When you buy your ticket you will be asked to select your menu options which are as follows:
Starter:
- Chilli Sweet Potato and Butternut Squash soup Served with a Cheese Crouton
- Homemade Vegetable Soup (vegan/gluten free)
Both served with a Selection of Artisan Warm Bread Rolls
Main Course:
- Roast Chicken Breast, Served with Sage & Onion Stuffing, Chipolata Sausage and Traditional Roast Gravy
- Haloumi and Vegetable Kebabs served on savoury rice with a spied tomato concase (Vegetarian)
- Butternut Gobi Dhansak: Vegan curry of Cauliflower, Butternut squash, red onion, red peppers, split peas and lentils in a spiced sauce (Vegan, gluten free)
Main Course served with Fresh Market Vegetables and Baby New Roasted Potatoes with Garlic and Rosemary
Dessert:
- Trio of Mini Desserts: Chocolate & Orange Cup, Tia Maria & Coffee Bavarois, Strawberry & White chocolate Torte, served with an individual crème pot
- Chocolate and Raspberry Tart: Gluten Free Biscuit based filled with a Chocolate and Raspberry Filling. Finished with a Raspberry Swirl and Served with an Individual Crème Pot (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free)

Please also let us know who you would like to be seated with. Tables will be in groups of 8-12. If this is section is not completed your seat will be automatically assigned. Where possible this will be done by year group but we cannot guarantee that this will be possible. Tickets will be on sale until INSERT, after which they will not be available.
If you buy this ticket online via the Guild website, you will be charged a booking fee of 1.5% per ticket, plus a 30p surcharge. Tickets are also available via the Guild Reception between 9-4:45 Monday to Friday. You will not be charged a booking fee or a surcharge, but please note this method is cash only. Please bring the correct tender, where possible, if purchasing at Reception.
