Training Session for Curriculum Mapping Volunteers

The Guild's curriculum mapping project is back!

For the past 3 years, the Guild has been running its curriculum mapping volunteering project in collaboration with SOS-UK. The project allows student volunteers to take their education into their own hands and map their modules against the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. This year we are continuing to run the project and have developed it to include decolonising criteria. As decarbonisation and decolonisation are so closely linked we felt this was the natural next step for the project. The project is a great way to assess whether your curriculum is fit for the future and you can feedback your findings to academics too.

In this session we will be going over everything you need to know to get mapping such as the background to the criteria and how to use the mapping form.

You can sign up to the volunteering opportunity here. If you volunteer 7 + hours on the project (which the Zoom session counts towards) you will be eligible for HEAR accreditation.
