Student Officer Election: How to Vote

Have your say on who represents you and forms the Student Officer Team 2020/20 from Monday 9th until Friday 13th March.

We have 15 candidates in the running to become part of your Student Officer Team 2020/21. You can get to know them better and what issues matter most to them by taking a look at their manifestos here.



How to vote:

  • Click the "Vote Now" banner on our homepage
  • Log into our website using the big purple button and entering your University username and password
  • You will then be taken to the Elections page
  • Rank the candidates in order of your preference, number one being your most preferred candidate. You can rank as many as you would like to, it does not have to be all of them.

Who can vote?

Students who can vote and have full access to all our services are known as our full members. This includes:

  • Liverpool Undergraduate students
  • Liverpool and London based Postgraduate students (both taught and research) and
  • Intercalating Medical students (including those studying at a different institution).

Students who cannot vote and have access to a selection of our services are known as our associate members.  This includes:

  • ERASMUS students
  • Foundation College students
  • International exchange students
  • Cayman Islands Law School students
  • Laureate (online) students.


The candidates, their campaign teams and all of their materials will be bringing a bit of election excitement across campus; take a look at a poster, chat to campaign team and make sure you vote for the candidates who represent you.
