Manifesto Question Responses
Why are you running to be an Officer?
I am running because I care about whether student life here actually works for people day to day. Too many students struggle with costs, transport, or feeling ignored when something goes wrong. I have spent my time at uni organising projects, running media, and working with societies, so I know how to turn ideas into action. I want to be someone students can go to and get a response, not an email that disappears into the junk folder.
What qualities would you bring to the role?

What would be your top 4 priorities, if you were elected?
Cost of living support that students actually feel
I will negotiate student discounts with local businesses across Liverpool so your student card saves you money beyond campus. I will also run regular free or low cost food events during exam periods because nobody studies well while worrying about meals. Small financial relief makes a big difference to daily life.
Fair and reliable transport for students
Travel costs hit students living further out the hardest. I will push for protected student bus tickets so people are not forced to pretend to be under 18 to afford journeys. I will also work with providers to improve routes serving areas like Greenbank and Smithdown where buses are essential, not optional. Getting to uni should not be a daily stress.
A stronger sense of belonging for international and exchange students
Arriving in a new country can feel isolating. I will launch a Welcome and Belong programme pairing home students with international students through peer mentors and shared events. University should feel like a community from week one, not something students slowly find months later.
Real accountability and a stronger student voice
Students often raise issues and never hear what happens next. I will create a public Student Issues Tracker so anyone can see what has been reported and what progress is being made. I will also host monthly open forums with union leadership so decisions stay transparent and students can ask questions directly. Representation should be visible, not hidden behind meetings.
