Manifesto Question Responses

Bring about inspiration to find the courage to be responsible and the strength to accept things and beings. Major issues go about in life and we can have charts or checkboxes to bring about bigger changes. But we need nourishment and love. I want to show that Leadership is about knowing when to make little things matter and provide space to experience and explore the humane bits we have in us. I am running because leadership should feel steady, not distant. At 29, with industrial experience and here as an international student, I understand how systems affect us. I'd love to be there!

I bring calm decision making, structured approach & love creating spaces. I understand governance and accountability from professional experience, and I study how organisations and management influence us, students. I listen, question and act, quite steadily trying to balance with the 'greater good'. I value strength with empathy. Clarity is what should drive leadership and purpose itself to ensure that students feel heard and valued.
I bring resilience and believe that every person is a work of art, worth a thousand admiration. And within us, it's the abstract bits that make us beautiful.

1) Clear and Consistent Leadership
• Open forums before major decisions
• Simple explanations of how decisions are made

2) Financial Fairness and International Support
• Better visibility of hardship and financial guidance
• Stronger international student representation
• Practical cost of living information and inclusion of more concession options or passes/coupons

3) Academic Systems That Respect Students
• Push for consistent feedback timelines
• Stronger postgraduate and research voice
• Clearer communication between faculties, students and administration

4) Culture of Belonging
• Campus wide “Be KIND” initiative
• Cross community dialogue spaces
• Practical inclusion efforts like space pods of communal belonging and conversations.

I want to celebrate every bit of abstraction that we have within us and nourish the capabilities expressed or unexpressed.
