You're invited to the Guild’s Annual Members’ Meeting

Do you have questions for our Trustees or want to find out more about your Students’ Union? It’s time to exercise your Guild membership.

You’re invited to…

Guild’s Annual Members’ Meeting

Tuesday 16.4.24

12:30pm

The Library Room

At our Annual Members Meeting you have the chance to:

  • Hear updates from the Student Officer team.

  • Vote on approving our affiliations.

  • learn more about how the Guild works.

  • Put your questions to the Guild Trustees

Here’s everything you need to know:

  • The official notice for the AMM can be found here and the Annual Report 2022/23 is available here

  • All Full Members of the Guild are able to attend and vote at the AMM. However, if you can’t come along, you may nominate either the chair of the meeting or another person to vote on your behalf. To nominate a proxy, you have two options available to you:

  1. Email alice.middleton@liverpool.ac.uk and attach the completed proxy vote form (linked below) in full by no later than 5pm on Friday 12th April 2024. Your university email will confirm your name and address for identification purposes.

  2. Print the proxy vote form (linked below) in full and send it by post/hand for the attention of Alice Middleton at Liverpool Guild of Students Reception, 160 Mount Pleasant, Liverpool L3 5TR to be received no later than 5pm on Friday 12th April 2024.

  • If you are nominating another student to be your proxy, you need to tell us their name and student ID number so we know who they are.

  • The proxy nomination form can be found by clicking here.

Members are reminded of their obligation to ensure responsibility for the votes they cast, and in passing a proxy to a third party, students are relying on the integrity of that individual. You may choose to appoint the Chair of the meeting, as your proxy; use one of the methods above to do this.

If you have any questions, please email alice.middleton@liverpool.ac.uk
