The EY Foundation is an independent UK charity established in 2014 to support young people aged 13-19 who are facing significant barriers to the labour market. We aim to bring young people and employers together to close the skills gap between UK business and hidden, untapped talent.
We are currently working to deliver a number of programmes to young people with the Careers and Enterprise Company (CEC). We work to give young people facing barriers to employment the skills, experiences and support to get the jobs they really want, and connect employers to talented young people across the UK. Our ambition is to transform the workplace so that every young person, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to succeed.
We are looking for volunteers to support our sessions with the Young People. We have 3 main programmes in the Liverpool are:

• demonstrate an awareness of what employers are looking for
• show understanding of their own strengths and areas requiring improvement
• gain an understanding of the recruitment process & the format of interviews
You will be working with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups helping them to practice their interview technique. You will be asked to provide written and verabl feedback for each student. A full briefing pack will be provided.
