EEA Project Volunteer

Details Hide[-]

Working together with our Progression Team, the EEA (European Economic Area) Project Volunteer will gather evidence needed for our Members to be able to reside in the UK.

Our Members from EEA countries can now apply for Settled Status in the UK (providing they have been here for 5 years). This will give them similar rights and entitlements to UK citizens.

Some Members have received formal advice from Liverpool Law Clinic advising that they begin to gather evidence to support their applications. This may include completing Subject Access Requests to DWP, hospitals, and partner organisations to prove that they have been a resident in the UK for the last 5 years and this process might be quite complex. We would like to recruit some volunteers to help gather the evidence needed for our members to make their application for Settled Status.
