The time has come – you can now put a friend forward (or yourself) and register your interest in becoming a Student Officer and leading the Guild.
Every year, four students are elected by University of Liverpool students to run our organisation. They will work with us full time for one year (sometimes two) from summer 2020, and earn around £19k per annum in return. The four students are known as our Student Officers, and top of their priority list is to represent fellow students and make sure what matters to them stays at the heart of everything we do.
Will you / someone you know be in our next awesome foursome? Recommend yourself/them now.
We’ll just keep hold of your details for now – it’s not an official nomination – and get in touch with you during nomination period (27th January – 14th February 2020) to see if you’d still like to come and work with us.
The Student Officer role is a graduate job in which no two days are the same; from attending University Committee meetings to leading campaigns and planning the Guild activities, it really is a year (or two) like no other
Student Officers boast bucket loads of these qualities:
There is no interview for the role - the positions are filled each year through our Student Officer Elections. All you have to do is put yourself forward during our nomination period (27th January – 14th February 2020) and then campaign before and during our voting week (9th – 13th March) on why you’d be perfect for the job.
