Fundraising Volunteer Claire Bear

Ongoing

You must log in and create your profile before you can apply for this opportunity.
Enjoy having a good laugh? We're looking for someone to be our wonderful mascot Claire Bear! You'll accompany a staff member on community visits to give young supporters a special thank you.

We’re looking for a energetic, fun-loving and enthusiastic person – happy, friendly and always smiling! Claire Bear doesn’t speak so it’s strictly a non-speaking role.

You’ll need to keep the head on for short periods of time, so be mindful that you should be okay with enclosed spaces. You’ll also need to have good movement as the shoes can make it more difficult to walk.

Location: At this time you won’t be asked to attend a visit on your own, but you will be required to make your own way there. So, please be mindful that you will have to make your own way to and from venues. We offer reasonable travel expenses.

Times: These visits will take place on an ad-hoc basis, so it’s great if you’re looking for something flexible. It will mostly be during school hours. Schools can ask us for a last-minute visit at times so it would be perfect if you have a flexible schedule too!

Training: On receiving your application, we’ll get in touch to discuss the role further and answer any questions you may have. Don’t worry, you’ll receive full training on the do’s and don’ts of being such a famous and fabulous Bear!
