educational psychologist

This campaign fought for the University to fund the full cost of Educational Psychologist Assessments for any student seeking support.
UCU

When some University Lecturers went on strike over a pensions dispute the Guild’s members voted to support striking Trade Union members.
Lecture Capture

Raising awareness of the University’s Lecture Capture policy and increasing the number of lectures being recorded for students to access.
Liverpool night

Nightline was a confidential phone service run by a team of trained volunteers to provide a listening ear for students.
Guild talks

A series of lectures on identity, black history and liberation. Students from multiple backgrounds explored concepts of intersectionality, discrimination and decolonisation.
National Demo

The Guild organised for students to attend a National Demo to protest against rising tuition fees and improve student living standards.
Cut the costs

We worked with NUS and the University to support students and challenge Government when maintenance grants and nursing bursaries were cut.

This campaign worked with sports teams to challenge discrimination against people based on their sexuality.
