Cut the rent – This campaign secured a whopping 3.7 million rent cut for students in UOL Halls of Residence
Call it out – This campaign encouraged students to tackle all forms of sexual harassment and abuse on campus
This campaign fought for the University to fund the full cost of Educational Psychologist Assessments for any student seeking support.
When some University Lecturers went on strike over a pensions dispute the Guild’s members voted to support striking Trade Union members.
Raising awareness of the University’s Lecture Capture policy and increasing the number of lectures being recorded for students to access.
Nightline was a confidential phone service run by a team of trained volunteers to provide a listening ear for students.
A series of lectures on identity, black history and liberation. Students from multiple backgrounds explored concepts of intersectionality, discrimination and decolonisation.
The Guild organised for students to attend a National Demo to protest against rising tuition fees and improve student living standards.
