Student staff jobs

We are recruiting!

We are currently recruiting student staff for 2019/2020 across various outlets at the Guild. Joining our student staff team is a great way to gain experience, get involved, make new friends and have fun whilst earning some much needed cash.

Successful applicants will be asked to attend an induction Monday 10th June 2019-this is a mandatory part of employment with the Guild and every member of student staff needs to attend this before working with us. At the induction, we’ll take some information from you, you’ll find out all about working for the Guild, and we’ll also train you in the necessary parts of the job. It will also be a great opportunity to meet your new colleagues and others from the Guild staff team.

At the induction, we’ll need to see an item of the following types of identification to complete all legal right to work checks:

  • Home students: full birth certificate or current passport
  • EU students: current passport or identity card
  • International/non-EU students: current passport and either your student/tier 4 visa, or a residence permit

We really do need to see the original document, so try and get a hold of it before the induction date. We can’t accept a photocopy or a scan, so please don’t rely on those, and we really can’t take any other items like a driving licence.
