We are currently looking to appoint a co-opted trustee to take the role of our Honorary Treasurer. We are especially keen to receive applications from professionals who have experience in the financial or legal sectors, or who have a strong business background.
Co-opted Trustees are professionals appointed for their skills and experience and can serve up to two four-year terms. This is a voluntary role however reasonable expenses may be paid.
Our Honorary Treasurer advises the Chair of the Board of Trustees on financial matters and Chairs our Resources & Audit Committee.

Our Volunteering and Fundraising Coordinator works within our Student Activities Team, a key part of the Liverpool Guild’s Membership Services department. The Volunteering and Fundraising Coordinator will offer high quality support and guidance to students and external organisations involved in volunteering and fundraising.
The post will facilitate the development, coordination and operational management of the volunteering and fundraising opportunities for students. The post will also facilitate part of the Guild’s community liaison work. The post holder will also work with the rest of the Membership Services Team and partner organisations to support students wishing to engage in volunteering and fundraising activities, which benefit and enhance their student experience. The post holder is responsible for the line management of the Volunteering Assistant and the Fundraising Assistant.

The successful applicant will play a key role in building the Guild’s capacity as a campaigning organisation, providing operational support to our elected student leaders and helping them run impactful and change-making campaigns on a variety of issues. We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who has experience of campaign organisation and delivery. We welcome applications from candidates with a wide variety of campaigning skills and experiences, including those from outside the student movement.
