Explore Liverpool with a walk in Formby Woods Nature Reserve. The reserve boasts both forests and beaches, and if you're lucky, you may catch a glimpse of rare red squirrels! Please bring food and water with you, as there is nowhere to purchase them at the reserve and wear good footwear. Train tickets are provided!

Summer Ball is going to be on the 3rd July at Revolution, Albert Dock starting at 8pm.

Tickets will include an arrival drink, 3 free drinks with your wristband, a free photobooth, and there’ll also be a photographer there on the night.

Plus ones are encouraged, and society members will be able to buy up to 2 tickets through the Guild, one for themselves and one for their plus one.🤍

Get ready for an Icebreaker experience that is bigger and better than ever!

Over the last 16 years The Big Freshers Icebreaker has provided a right of passage between ordinary life and University for over 500,000 students... and now it's your turn. This is the most successful and well attended freshers event in UK history!

This is not just an event... It's a tradition! We sell out very far in advance every year, so please make sure to buy your ticket early. This is not your usual budget student night event, this is a high end production show that will live long in your memory!

We offer something everyone can enjoy, we work hard to make our event the most inclusive there is. Big parties and drinking might not be your thing but Icebreaker is all about making friends and being the standout night as you adjust to university life and enter adulthood!

Social Wristband Challenges & Icebreaker Competition:
Every ticket comes with an Icebreaker wristband which is collected on arrival. On each wristband there will be a list of social challenges to complete on the night with your new flatmates! We don't need to tell you how to make friends, but we certainly know how to mix things up and make things interesting 😏 😈

LivCycle Bike Hire 2025/26 (06/09/2024, 14:20)

Liverpool Guild of Students has partnered with our good friends Peloton to provide a fleet of bikes for students to rent to help you get around our campus and the city sustainably!

Bikes can be hired for either 1 semester or 1 year (latest return date 26th June 2026) and you can renew your hire for either a semester or a year; please select the appropriate ticket when purchasing. A D-lock is also included within the bike hire.

1 semester bike hire: £40 + £50 deposit
1 year bike hire: £60 + £50 deposit
1 semester bike hire RENEWAL: £40
1 year bike hire RENEWAL: £60

Initial bike hire includes a £50 refundable deposit. The deposit will be refunded upon return of your bike on time and in good condition. If any major repairs need to be made money to cover them will be taken from the deposit. If you are renewing your bike hire, the deposit will be carried over from the previous hire. If you have previously hired a bike with us and wish to renew your hire, please purchase either of the "RENEWAL" options.

Before purchasing your hire, please read the hire terms and conditions. By purchasing LivCycle bike hire, you are agreeing to abide by these terms and conditions.

To collect, return, or swap your bike, please book an appointment here. We can also offer assistance in purchasing the correct type of hire during this appointment. Please do not turn up without an appointment, as we may not be able to help you.

If you buy this ticket online via the Guild website, you will be charged a non-refundable booking fee of 1.5% per ticket, plus a 30p surcharge. If you buy this ticket in cash via Guild Reception Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, you will not be charged a booking fee or a surcharge.
